G. K. Chesterton – friend of Hilaire Belloc and George Bernard Shaw.  Penned 80 books including ‘The Man Who Was Thursday: A Nightmare’ and the ‘Father Brown’ series of short stories. He is currently being considered for beatification.

G.K. Chesterton died at home in Grove Road, Beaconsfield and is buried in Shepherds Lane Cemetery, off Candlemas Lane, Beaconsfield.
